Our Project Managers are experienced in the documentation and delivery of LEED Certified projects. We work closely with our vendors and material suppliers who are capable of providing our materials from FSC Certified facilities with all applicable Chain of Custody documentation.
Our Project Management System is configured to readily extract all material and cost data required to properly complete the documentation necessary to certify a project as well as to notify our material suppliers of the requirements so that we can obtain the necessary chain-of-custody certification numbers.

LEED Credit EQc4.1: Low Emitting Materials, Adhesives & Sealants
Our products can contribute 100% to the EQc4.1 requirement for this LEED item. All sealants, sealant primers, and adhesives used in the interior of the building (defined as inside the weatherproofing system and applied onsite) complies with the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) Rule #1168.
The aerosol adhesives used in the interior of the building comply with the requirements of the Green Seal Standard for Commercial Adhesives GS-36, 2000.
Whitfield provides a cut sheet and a MSDS sheet, highlighting the VOC content of the material in g/L, for each adhesive or sealant used, calculated according to 40 CFR 59, Subpart D (EPA Method 24).
